Seller Terms & Conditions

These terms govern how approved sellers list and sell on SKMART, operated by Salasar Agro Exim. By applying for a seller account you agree to them.

1. Becoming a seller

Anyone may apply for a seller account, but you may only list products once your KYC (Know Your Customer) documents have been verified and approved by our team. We may request a valid GSTIN, PAN, bank details and identity/address proof. Providing false information, or listing before approval, may lead to rejection or suspension.

2. Commission & fees

SKMART charges a platform commission of 10% on the sale value of each item you sell (before taxes and any buyer-side discounts funded by the platform). The applicable rate is shown in your seller dashboard and is stamped onto every order at the time of sale, so a later change never affects orders already placed. Individual sellers may be offered a different negotiated rate, which will be reflected on their account.

You are responsible for your own taxes (including GST) on your sales. Prices you set are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. Earnings & settlement

For every sale, we record your earning = item sale value − platform commission. Earnings are tracked in your seller dashboard against each order.

An earning becomes eligible for settlement once the order is delivered and its return window has closed, and provided no return, replacement, cancellation or dispute is pending on that item. Amounts for cancelled or returned items are reversed. Settlement of eligible earnings is made to your registered bank account on the platform's settlement cycle; the platform may withhold amounts to cover refunds, chargebacks, or policy breaches.

4. Your obligations as a seller

  • Accurate listings. Titles, descriptions, images, sizes, prices and stock must be truthful and match the actual product. No misleading or copied content.
  • Genuine products only. You must own the right to sell every item and it must be authentic, legal, and safe.
  • Timely dispatch. Pack and hand over confirmed orders within the promised handling time, in secure packaging.
  • Honour returns & replacements. Accept valid cancellations, returns and replacements within our Refund & Cancellation Policy (7-day window unless an item is properly marked non-returnable).
  • Service & conduct. Respond to buyer and platform queries promptly and communicate only through platform channels.
  • Legal compliance. Comply with all applicable Indian laws, including consumer, tax, labelling and product-safety rules, and keep your KYC and bank details current.

5. Prohibited products

You may not list or sell:

  • Counterfeit, replica, or trademark/copyright-infringing goods;
  • Illegal, stolen, recalled, or smuggled items;
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or hazardous/flammable materials;
  • Drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and other regulated or age-restricted substances;
  • Adult/obscene content, or anything sexually exploitative;
  • Live animals, human/animal parts, or endangered-species products;
  • Prescription medicines, medical devices, or unapproved health/wellness claims;
  • Any product that is unsafe, or that violates a third party's rights or applicable law.

We may remove any listing at our discretion and report unlawful activity to the authorities.

6. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close a seller account for breach of these terms, repeated policy violations, fraud, counterfeit or prohibited listings, or poor buyer experience. Eligible earnings for validly completed orders remain payable, subject to any withholding for pending refunds or dues.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via your seller dashboard or email. Continuing to sell after a change means you accept the updated terms.
